In 2010, Grace Baptist Church of Nashville began as a mission church of Grace Baptist Church in Louisburg, NC. Pastor Wes Bailey had a burden to reach the people of Nashville, and God opened the doors for GBC Nashville to be started. Early services were held at Nashville Elementary School.
As the church grew and became established, they moved into a storefront, which offered more privacy than did the original meeting location. A few months later, the Lord led Pastor Wes Bailey’s son, Tucker, to accept the position of pastor.
In October, 2013, Pastor Bailey and other faithful attendees signed the church charter, establishing Grace Baptist Church as an independent church instead of a mission church.
The Lord continued to bless, and in August, 2015, GBC moved into a building of its own on one of the main streets in Nashville.
Pastor Tucker Bailey is married to his wife, Liz. They have one young son. Pastor Bailey earned his Batchelor’s degree in both Missions and Bible. He minored in Creation Apologetics. In July, 2015, he received his Master’s degree in Theology.
Pastor Bailey and the members of Grace Baptist Church remain excited to see how the Lord will use them.
